Roasted with Purpose: The Muse Coffee Story
In 2007, just after welcoming their second child, Muse founders felt led to start a new season in Lynchburg, VA. A job loss led to a leap of faith — and through love, prayer, and a growing passion for coffee, The Muse Coffee Company was born.
Since 2009, they’ve been roasting some of the most flavorful and ethically sourced coffee around — not just to fuel mornings, but to fuel mission.

The Muse Coffee Company roasts their beans on a USRC 12k machine, allowing for precision-crafted batches that highlight the natural qualities of each origin. Their lineup offers something for every palate, from bright Ethiopian beans with subtle blueberry notes to the deep, earthy richness of their Mocha Java blend. Every roast is sourced through direct trade relationships, ensuring ethical, sustainable practices that support the farmers behind the beans. Most importantly, their roasting process is mission-driven — grounded in faith and built around a deep commitment to loving and serving others.
