Our Dream come true

Who We Are

Abigail and Benjamin Larsen built this dream from the ground up. After eloping in 2022, they transformed a cargo trailer into a vintage-style coffee haven, handcrafting every detail. Abigail's passion ignited during missionary work in Azerbaijan and barista days in Minnesota; Benjamin, her lifelong supporter, made it real. Guided by faith, they now serve handcrafted espresso, lattes, smoothies, and signature roasts wherever people gather. Coming soon: our new coffee cart, perfect for intimate weddings and indoor events.

Meet Abigail and Benjamin Larsen - the passionate duo behind Heavenly Grounds Coffee Co. After marrying in August of 2022, they embarked on a journey to turn Abigail's dream into reality. They eloped and wasted no time, purchasing a cargo trailer to begin building their vision. From converting an empty trailer to handcrafting every detail, they poured their hearts into creating a mobile coffee shop that stands out.

The seed for this dream was planted in Abigail's heart during her time in Azerbaijan, where she did missionary work and taught English with Youth With A Mission in 2017. The idea of opening a coffee shop, a haven for people to gather, build community, and find peace in a busy world, resonated deeply with her. When she returned home to Minnesota, she found a job at a small coffee house and honed her skills as a barista. The spiritual call to apply to that specific coffee house led her to embark further on her journey. Working her way up to manager at BridgeHouse Coffee fueled her desire to open a coffee shop of her own.

Abigail shared her dreams with Benjamin, her close friend and supporter since their youth group days. From the beginning, Benjamin stood by her vision, and now they are blessed to have built it together from the ground up. This journey had its testing moments, but their unwavering faith and commitment have seen them through. They believe that God has guided their steps, bringing perfect timings into their lives repeatedly. Along the way, they have met like-minded, passionate individuals who have inspired and supported them. Serving others and supporting the community through Heavenly Grounds Coffee Co. is an opportunity they are grateful for.
